Photographs of your car park are uploaded straight from the setup wizard and stored with Parkena, and those are the ones parkena.com shows. The wizard still accepts the web address of a picture you already have online, but parkena.com does not display pictures from other websites — and the step says so beside the field.

If you are not moving off the software you run today, you do not have to. A REST API takes your car parks and your prices in, and hands Parkena’s bookings back out to the system you already work in.

What the software actually does

Reservations

One record of what is sold. Two travellers cannot buy the same space, a car park stops selling when it is full, and a cancellation puts the bay back — because there is a single count, not a booking system and a spreadsheet trying to agree.

Pricing inside a mandate

You set a floor and a ceiling; Parkena picks the daily price between them. It reads two things and nothing else — how full the car park is on that date, and how soon that date is — in coarse bands, so the number does not twitch between the quote and the booking. It does not read flight schedules, seasons, holidays or the day of the week, and it cannot quote below your floor or above your ceiling.

One system

What we sell is what your console says is free.

Reservations and pricing are not two products with a nightly file passing between them; they are one set of rows. A traveller books on parkena.com and the space is taken in the record you are looking at, at the price your mandate produced, with the booking in your console straight away. There is no barrier feed and no sensor count behind this — nothing here counts cars. What makes availability true is that there is only one copy of it.

How a car park gets onto parkena.com

Create the account, add the car park, say how many spaces it has and what you want it to cost. No card, and nothing to sign before you can see the software.
Parkena reviews the listing
A person at Parkena reads what you submitted before it is public. Approved, it goes live on the site. Sent back, you are told what to change. Every decision is a recorded row, so there is an audit trail rather than an opinion.
Travellers book it at your price
The listing sells at the price your rate plan produced — not one Parkena decided for you — and the booking, the traveller and the total arrive in your console.

Step 2 is a person, not a queue that clears itself — and it is why there is no logo wall on this page and no count of operators, lots or countries. Parkena publishes numbers it can count and claims it can show you the mechanism for. Everything on this page is one or the other.

What this costs

The software is free. The standard commission is 15%.

There is no subscription and no card taken at signup — the console is free to run your car parks on whether or not a single Parkena booking ever arrives. What Parkena earns is a commission on the bookings it sends you: 15% of the sale is the standard rate today, it is held on your own operator account, and the console’s payment settings show the rate that applies to you. It is written onto a booking at the moment of sale, so a later change cannot reach one already sold. The one case where Parkena keeps more is a booking cancelled after the free cancellation window has closed: nothing goes back to the traveller and nothing is transferred to you. The terms set all of it out.

Why both sides

You keep the operation. We take the shopfront.

Your brand, your prices, your own rules on your own channels. On the bookings Parkena sells, one platform cancellation rule applies to every car park on the site — free until 48 hours before drop-off, nothing back after that — and it is written onto the booking at the moment of sale. Parkena does not resell your car park under another name and does not decide what it costs. What we take on is the front of the shop: the listing, the comparison, the checkout, and the refusal to sell a space that is not there.

Two-sided by design

Operators get software they do not pay for. Travellers get supply that is real, at a price the operator set and the system can honour. Each side is the reason the other one works — and neither is easy to unplug once it does.
